Angelic beings can function as gateways in the inner worlds.
In this form, I have experienced them as tunnels—often flaming ones—through
which I pass. The near end, the end I enter, embodies the state from which I
begin. The far end embodies the state to which I am going. Sometimes the
imagery that comes up in my imagination as my consciousness adjusts to the
transition of states is that of a bridge rather than a tunnel.

Some angelic beings are actually archetypal symbols with
consciousness. For instance, they embody the meaning of cube-ness or a sphere. Another way to state this is that
they are the living consciousness of that shape—way beyond personality. They
exist wherever that shape exists, both in inner worlds as an abstract concept
and in the outer world as, say, a basketball. The shape is their body; they are
the consciousness that embodies all the properties and functions of that shape.
Communing with them often involves opening to meaning that is beyond words, but
somehow carries deep knowing and information.

Angelic beings are said to exist all around, and indeed
within us, in different dimensions than the physical. The energies that they
embody flow through various stages to become outwardly expressed. The more we
attune to their frequency, the more visible we become to them. There are many
types of angels with different functions; my intention here is to describe what
it is like to experience some types of angelic consciousness, from my own
experience, and to give some background on ways people have understood angels.

There is a lot written both historically and in modern times
about angels, some of which is written by people who have not experienced
angels directly, but only through thinking about them or copying other people’s
works. The Abrahamic traditions; Christianity, Judaism and Islam particularly
talk about angels, classifying them into types, levels and functions.

We can do affirmations for anything we want to create in our
lives whether they are conditions in which we want to live, feelings we want to
encourage, possessions we want to own or states of consciousness that we want
to manifest. In my experience, the most basic and powerful affirmations start
with I AM. This is because I AM comes from the core of our being, the self- existing
presence that is our awareness itself.

No matter what your life circumstances are, there are always
hundreds and thousands of things to be grateful for. Gratitude is one of the
most powerful ways to shift consciousness to a positive state. If you believe
your life is hard or full of pain and struggle in any way, I invite you to
cultivate gratitude.

Most Earth-based spirituality
traditions honor the cardinal directions as embodying sacred qualities. One of
these directions is the center. The location of the center is relative, because
each person has their own center, there is a center of an atom, a circle of
people, a home, a forest or a galaxy—anything you can point to has a center of
its being. The center of your body is located near the heart and stomach, in
the solar plexus, which is a very interesting area. It is called the solar
plexus because many nerves come together or radiate out: “solar” refers to the
rays of interwoven nerves, like sun’s rays, and “plexus” means network or
braids. The physical sun is, of course, the center of the solar system, and the
life-giving source of energy to our world; therefore the “center” of our life
in both a physical and a metaphorical or poetic sense.

The consciousness at the
foundation of your experience lives also through everything in the world, the
solar system, and the universe. It exists in a timeless present moment, that in
our sphere of existence, we experience through an apparent flow of moments that
we call time. This presence which is you-experiencing-the-world is also
everything else experiencing the world, through forms that appear to be limited
by their bodies—whether these bodies are human, animal, plant, rock, cloud, or
even created forms such as chairs, buildings and ice cream cones.

The polarity of male and female goes far beyond sexuality and gender; these are physical manifestations of a much deeper level of energy. Simply stated, "male" polarity in a more cosmic, primal sense is the outgoing force, whereas "female" polarity is the receptive capacity of the universe. The Chinese named them yang for masculine and yin for feminine. The well-known yin/yang symbol depicts the two united in a circle; each containing a dot the color of the other, showing that they each have the seed of the other within. They flow and change into each other....

The same source that emerges from
unbeing in each moment to become the oceans, continents, sun and stars is
emerging in this same moment as you. You are an integral part of the great
unfolding universe. The self that you normally identify with, the one with your
name and body, is a pattern of thought resting on or within this great, radiant
ocean of clear consciousness that creates the worlds. It is time to claim your
limitlessness; claim your authority as spirit made manifest.
